Kaveh KasheF

Kaveh Kashef spent the first 20 years of his career working at three of the largest law firms in Michigan where he was able to develop and maintain a large group of clients in a variety of fields and industries. Kaveh specializes in complex litigation in the fields of automotive, shareholder disputes, employment, commercial, construction, riparian rights, and real property law. Immediately prior to forming Kashef Legal Services, Kaveh spent nearly two years as the in-house general counsel for a long-time client who owns and operates several businesses in the scrap recycling, construction, real estate development and cannabis industries.  In addition to helping create, structure, and manage the businesses, Kaveh managed personnel and human resources issues, participated in the management of an industrial real estate portfolio and construction project management, and worked closely with the companies’ chief financial officer and accounting team on finance, tax, and accounting issues.  Kaveh also helped negotiate, resolve and, if necessary, litigate the companies’ legal disputes.

Immediately after law school, Kaveh clerked for the Honorable William A. Webb, United States Magistrate Judge for the Eastern District of North Carolina.

Kaveh has been very active with the Oakland County Bar Association (OCBA). In 2012, he was elected to the Board of Directors of the OCBA and, in 2021-22 served as its President.  He served as President of the Oakland County Bar Foundation and remains an Emeritus Trustee.
